Handler Biography’s
Scott W Lindner
Scott is a retired Deputy Sheriff with a local law enforcement agency. Before that Scott served in the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist. Before that, Scott worked for other local law enforcement agencies and received a Bachler’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
While in the Air Force Scott was exposed to, and assisted in working with the K-9 Units on base and with local civilian K-9 units in the area. Scott was not a handler however Scott was the decoy for bite work, track layer, would hide in buildings for building searches, and would hide narcotics and explosives for detection work.
After leaving the Air Force Scott was hired by a local Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff Explosives K-9 Handler. Scott was one of two bomb dog handlers in the State of Wisconsin on 9-11.
After retiring from law Enforcement Scott and Tina opened a dog kennel and started boarding and training dogs. They also expanded the business by training therapy dogs and bed bug detection dogs. Using the same training principals as federal, state and local dog trainers, Scott and Tina trained two bed bug detection dogs and started responding to calls to help locate live bed bugs.
After twelve years Scott and Tina continue to respond to calls for help in locating live bed bugs in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Scott and Tina have gained an excellent reputation for having quality dogs, giving one hundred and ten percent on every call, and quickly becoming Wisconsin’s leading bed bug detection business.
Today, Scott and Tina average over one hundred calls a month and have now started training quality bed bug detection dogs to sell to handlers in other states. All together Scott has over thirty-three years of professional working dog experience.
Tina M Lindner
No business can survive without proper logistics. Scott handles the dog stuff while Tina runs the business. Without Tina covering the logistics of running the business there, would be no business.
Besides being a mother and raising two wonderful boys, Tina has experience working in a bank and in the health care field. In both fields Tina worked herself up to a supervisory position. Tina takes experience from both positions and applies it to our bed bug detection business.
Tina is also a dog handler and has formed a great bond with both of our bed bug detection dogs.
Together Scott and Tina have formed a successful business using their talents and doing something they both enjoy doing, working dogs and running a successful business.
Both Tina and Scott have been successful in locating live bed bugs using our bed bug detection dogs. Bed bugs have a variety of places they can hide and it takes a good handler and a properly trained dog to find them.
One aspect of the business that Tina and Scott are most proud of is the educating of people using their business. Once on scene and during the call, Scott and Tina try to educate the client or customer on beds, how do you get them, where do they come from, how do I get rid of them, can your dog find them?
Scott and Tina always leave a call feeling better knowing that the customer is more informed know, than when Scott and Tina first arrived.
