K-9 Bed Bug Detection Service, LLC is a professional bed bug detection company that locates infestations using highly trained dogs. Every living thing gives off an odor, including bed bugs. With their remarkable sense of smell, our dogs are trained to detect and alert to the presence of bed bugs with accuracy that far surpasses human inspection alone.

We are a detection-only service — we do not perform extermination. Instead, we work alongside trusted extermination companies and are happy to provide referrals if needed, or we can coordinate with an exterminator of your choice.

K-9 Bed Bug Detection Service, LLC is a family-owned small business, founded and operated by husband-and-wife team Scott and Tina Lindner, along with their canine partners, Nordi and Petra. Scott is a former law enforcement K-9 deputy, and Tina is a former office supervisor and K-9 handler. Together, they bring more than 33 years of professional dog training and handling experience. Scott has trained and worked with multiple explosive detection dogs during his law enforcement career, and now selects and trains all of the bed bug detection dogs for the company. Tina assists in the training process and works with the dogs on larger calls.

Our canine partners, Nordi and Petra, are German hunting dogs imported from Germany, chosen specifically for their strong hunting drive and exceptional scent detection ability. With them by our side, we follow a proven formula and inspection routine that we have developed and refined over the past 12 years in business.
